About JJ & S Electric LLC
Two electricians, one phone number, and a Moxee shop that covers all of Yakima County.
JJ & S is Sal and Jose. Sal Medina owns the company and holds the Washington contractor licence. Jose is the electrician customers ask for by name. Together they bring 12+ years of experience in the trade, and most calls are picked up by someone who can also do the work.
Who shows up
How Sal and Jose work, in their customers' words
We would rather let the reviews do the talking. The same few things come up again and again: they answer the phone, they quote straight, they keep the work tidy, and they do not mind getting dirty to finish the job. Salvador Medina is listed as the owner on the state L&I record, and customers call him Sal, and sometimes Saul.
“Not only are Jose and Sal great electricians, they are not afraid to get dirty and get the job done.”
Phoebe McMurtrey · Own-site testimonial
She hired them for new switches and cut-in can lights after buying her home.
“He doesn’t ignore your calls like other contractors, answers fast and calls back fast.”
Jaime A · Google review
They wired a multi-family build and a home build for him, and he plans to use them on his next one.
“If you’re looking for a skilled and honest electrician in the Yakima area, I highly recommend JJ & S Electric LLC!”
Hayden Miles · Google review
The job was a wall heater. He singled out the transparency and the lack of overcharging.

Licensed and Insured, and you can check
JJ&S Electric LLC is a Washington L&I electrical contractor, licence JJSELEL784DJ, specialty General, and the licence is active. Licensed and insured is not a slogan here. Anyone can look that number up on the L&I contractor search before a crew ever steps on the property, and we would rather you did.
Behind the licence sits 12+ years of experience across new construction, panels, repairs and equipment wiring. On Google the company holds a 4.9 rating from 45 reviews.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. Emergency calls are answered 24/7.

All of Yakima County, including the roads that are hard to drive
The shop is in Moxee. The work is anywhere in Yakima County, from town lots to rural property. Mitch Hill had them wire a new house on land where, in his words, the road is “more like a 4x4 trail in the winter.” The build slid into the cold months, and much of the electrical was finished in two feet of snow and single-digit temperatures. He says the job got done, and done extremely well.
That is the kind of calls we take on. Not the easy ones only.
